5 Simple Steps to Building Any Wordpress Website

Learn how to use Wordpress so you can design and build professional level websites, no coding required (yay!🥂).

So... the word on the street is that Wordpress is complicated...

BUT, it doesn't have to be this way.

I promise you...

By following these 5 simple steps you will be able to build any Wordpress website, without:

  • staring at the dashboard in a sea of confusion
  • wanting to throw your computer off a tall building in frustration
  • closing your browser thinking it's too hard, you'll never get the hang of it

(trust me, I'm well in touch with all of the above)

Here's what you'll learn:

5 Simple Steps to Rockin' and Rollin' with Wordpress

(extra good news: all of these can be completed in under a day!)

Professional Wordpress websites are self-hosted, meaning you have to set that sh*t up yourself (which isn't as complicated as it sounds!).

Install Wordpress

There are tons of articles floating around the internet on how to install Wordpress, but I'm going to teach you the easiest, one-click solution.

Upload A Theme

Even with 1 million + options out there, I use one theme with all my Wordpress sites (for clients and myself). Consider this the ultimate insider knowledge.

Import A Demo

The right demo makes your job either easier, or more labor intensive. I'll teach you how to choose the right one for any type of project.

Customize Content

This is the factor that makes a website look like yours (or your client's). And once this step is complete, you'll have a website that's ready to launch!

Ready to have a crack at your own Wordpress website?

Hey! I'm Amy.

I've been in the freelance creative space for more than a decade... but it wasn't until I specialized in web design – Wordpress websites, to be exact – that my business exploded.

The Global Creator Studio is where I work my magic with clients, and where you can see samples of what I do.

And since I've been around the block with this whole self-employed web designer thing, I field plenty of questions (and complaints) from other designers about Wordpress being the bane of their existence...

Which has them leaving far too much money on the table.

Wordpress can be easy, and, dare I say, enjoyable, once you've unlocked a few of its secrets.

Take a look at what's inside:

What my clients have to say:

"I love Amy’s diligence, persistence, style of communication, and video tutorials!

To anyone on the fence about working with Amy, I say do it! She's fast, easy, fun and thorough - my two websites were a big bite and she did a great job!"

"Amy nailed our vision and over delivered. While we had some unique requests, she was able to accommodate all of them to give the sites the look, feel, functionality and user experience we all desired.

I would HIGHLY recommend working with Amy for any and all website development projects. She's my ace!"

We've got A's for your Q's

How much does it cost?

The training itself is absolutely FREE! That being said, just as if you enrolled in a course about makeup, there are a few external costs involved. In that example it would come in the form of lipstick and eyeshadow, and this case it's a domain and hosting plan, and a theme license. Keep mind, you'll be learning skill you can actually sell, and start making money from immediately.

How do I know it's for me?

Are you a designer who's been dabbling with websites, and ready to learn more? Or maybe you're tired of referring website projects away, and leaving money on the table? Whatever the case, if you're interested in learning how to design and build Wordpress websites – either for yourself or others – this course is for you!

Does it matter if I have no website experience?

Nope! If you're new to the tech side of things, I believe the best way to learn is to dive in and start doing. This course is designed for anyone, at any level, which is why I've intentionally boiled things down to the simplest steps possible.

Do I need to already be a professional graphic designer?

Not at all! Design expertise is not a requirement, especially since the way I'm going to teach you makes it as easy as possible to create a beautiful website. If you already do design, even better! You can use what you'll learn to hone your skills, and add a new medium to your portfolio.

Will I be able to get feedback on my work?

I won't be able to provide individual feedback on designs in this program, BUT... if you're interested in really upping your web design skills, I would encourage you to hop on a consult call with me to chat about your goals and my 1:1 mentorship program.

What about any other support?

I provide a list of resources inside the program for extra help, if you really get stuck with a tech issue. And if you have any other questions, feel free to email me at hello@theglobalcreator.com or DM me on Instagram (@theglobalcreator). I'll get you sorted out in no time!

How much time will it take?

That really depends on how robust you want your Wordpress website to be! For a quick and easy one pager, I'd say you can expect it to take less than 8 hours to complete. If you want to create more pages and add a blog and make it more fancy, it will mostly likely take a bit longer.

When can I get started, and how long will I have access?

Immediately! You'll get instant access to all the training modules, so you can jump right in as soon as your heart desires. You will have lifetime access to this program, so you can refer back to any of the materials at any time.

This FREE training is designed to help you demystify the most robust, widely used website platform: Wordpress.

No need to learn HTML. Or Javascript. Or any of that other "tech" stuff.

These 5 simple steps are made for designers of every level.

And by the time you're done with this course...

You'll have a finished Wordpress website in your portfolio, and skills you can sell straight away.

So what are you waiting for?
